Socket Telecom to expand its fiber network into west Boone County

Socket Telecom is using $2.6 million in ARPA grant money and matching funds to expand broadband access in west Boone County.

The project will add 93 miles of fiber network to households and businesses west of Columbia, north and south of Interstate 70.
